The last of the regional natural parks of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur to be created, the Préalpes d’Azur is a land of constant changes, with multiple riches to enjoy between the Alps and the Mediterranean. Water is a strong feature of these lands; immense Karst plateaux formed from the dissolution of soluble rocks, streams and rivers winding through the centres of forests or even the various viewpoints overlooking the Mediterranean.
Numerous activities are on offer to visitors. From the exploration of underground galleries to the discovery of villages high up in the mountains with their striking medieval architecture, through to numerous open air activities, the Préalpes d’Azur has some serious attractions to tempt you…on the condition that you keep in mind that the balance of nature in this land remains fragile!
